I brought in my father's Seiko that had been sitting in a drawer for ten years. They looked at it, gave me a clear account of what was needed and what it would cost, and waited for my decision. The watch runs well again. The note they sent back with it was a pleasant touch — proper documentation of what was done.

The bracelet on my daily watch had become loose and scratched, and the leather strap I'd chosen myself didn't quite fit. They showed me options for the strap before touching anything and refinished the case while they were at it. Took about ten days, which is what they told me to expect. Good work, honest service.

I was nervous handing over a vintage piece I had brought from Singapore — not an expensive watch but one I am fond of. They were straightforward throughout: here is what we found, here is what we suggest, here is the cost. No pressure, no extras I hadn't asked for. I'd go back without hesitation.

My grandmother's watch needed a full overhaul. The photographic record they produced alongside the written notes is something I hadn't expected — it makes the whole service feel much more considered. The watch arrived back in a small envelope with everything documented. It was worth every baht.

I was in Khon Kaen for two weeks and needed a quick service on my daily automatic — it had been gaining about four minutes a day. They fit it in, told me what they found (worn keyless works, needing lubrication), and returned it within five days running at under fifteen seconds per day. Good, unfussy workshop.

They told me upfront that the case refinishing on my watch would remove some of the original finish and asked whether I wanted to proceed. That kind of honesty is not something I expected. I said no to the refinishing and yes to the service, and they were completely fine with that.

Case Studies

Three Watches, Three Stories

Case Study 01 — Everyday Service

The situation

A customer brought in a Japanese automatic he had worn daily for six years. It had begun stopping overnight and losing around two minutes per day when it ran. He assumed it needed a new movement.

What we did

Intake showed dried lubrication and a mainspring with reduced tension — a common picture after several years. We carried out a full clean and service with fresh lubricants. No part replacements were needed.

The outcome

Watch returned in six days running at +8 seconds per day. No new movement required. Cost: ฿3,600. The customer has since brought two other pieces in for the same service.

"I thought the movement was finished. Turns out it just needed a proper clean. Good to know before spending on something I didn't need."

— Somchai J., Khon Kaen

Case Study 02 — Keepsake Overhaul

The situation

A daughter brought in her late mother's dress watch — a Swiss piece from the 1970s. It had not run for years and she wanted it restored, but she was anxious about losing the original appearance.

What we did

We completed the Keepsake Overhaul — full movement work, conservative case cleaning only (no polishing at the customer's request), and a complete photographic and written record of every stage.

The outcome

Watch returned in three weeks with a twelve-page documentation folder. It now runs within acceptable vintage tolerance. The customer said the documentation was as valued as the repair itself.

"The folder with photographs and notes was something I didn't expect. It feels like a proper record of the watch's life now."

— Piyaporn P., Khon Kaen

Case Study 03 — Bracelet Refresh

The situation

A customer's stainless steel watch had accumulated noticeable wear marks on the case flanks and the bracelet links were loose. The movement was sound. He wanted it to look well-kept again.

What we did

We walked through the finish options — satin or mirror on the case flanks — and he chose to retain the original brushed look. Case refinished, bracelet tightened and cleaned, clasp adjusted. New rubber strap fitted as an alternative to the bracelet at his request.

The outcome

Returned in nine working days. The customer left with the bracelet reinstalled and the rubber option packaged separately. Cost: ฿12,800.

"They showed me finish options and explained what each would look like. Good that they checked rather than just doing what they thought."

— Nopparat W., Udon Thani
